EMT Certification

Cape Cod Community College is an official Training Institute for the Office of Emergency Medical Services.

Enter a rewarding career, bolster your resume, or take the first step to becoming a paramedic or healthcare professional by taking the 5-credit Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course at Cape Cod Community College.

As first-responders to many medical emergencies, well-trained and well-educated EMTs are critically important and are in-demand. Along with their work in the field, EMT’s work in exciting environments including hospitals, on ambulances, and public events.

Skills to Save Lives

In our 150-hour course, you will learn:

  • Basic life-saving skills
  • CPR training and certification
  • First-aid skills
  • How to respond quickly and efficiently to medical emergencies

After successful completion of the course, you will earn your official certification as an EMT and be credentialed to work in the field.
