Biodiversity of Belize SCI100 Ecotourism (1 credit)
More than a quarter of the 9,000 square miles that make up Belize are under a carefully managed system of reserves. During the trip, guests will explore biodiversity in the country, and will become familiarized with those reserves.
Over the course of eight days, guests will:
Visit and hike through the Belizean jungle
Swim in St. Herman’s Blue Hole
Travel to Punta Gorda to visit the Mayan archaeological site of Nim Li Punit
Snorkel in Placencia
Get introduced to the Reef Eco System
Open to students, faculty, staff, friends and family.
