Military Benefits for Tuition and Fees
Students receiving educational assistance under chapter 33 (Post 9/11 GI Bill) or chapter 31 (Vocational Rehabilitation) must complete a Cape Cod Community College Veteran’s Benefits application when attending the College the first time or if returning after an absence of at least one year. This application will collect necessary information to defer tuition and fee payment while benefits process. Students are strongly recommended to provide documentation confirming their benefit status. Acceptable documents include a Certificate of Eligibility, Statement of Benefits, an eBenefits screen print, or VA Voc Rehab form 28-1905.
The College will defer payment for tuition and fees while the College and VA process the benefit application. Students can attend classes and make full use of all campus facilities during this time. The College expects that benefit payments will be received prior to the end of each term. The College does not assess late fees for VA educational benefit recipients. For students receiving less than 100% benefits, the student portion must be paid prior to enrolling for the next term.
Tuition for VA education benefit recipients will be assessed at the in-state rate.
